Description

Sex and the City??

When my human, Jeffrey, uprooted me from my happy life as a glam New York dog and moved us to Boston, I didn't expect to find myself in the middle of a major crisis. I thought I would find Mr. Right and, as they say, live happily ever after.

In New York I was popular. Even, sometimes, famous—when my name or my photo was in the gossip columns. Parties, treats, pats—what a life I had!

So I thought life in Boston would be the same, only colder.

The End of the World As We Know It

Do you know how it feels to have your world crashing down around your furry ears?

Horrible, that's how it feels.

Just when I thought I wasn't homesick any longer for New York, just when Jeffrey, my human, found Rebecca to write these books about me and all the dogs at our dog park—BOOM!

The end!

I was becoming a real Boston dog, Red Sox and all. I was even getting along with Jeffrey's new girlfriend. (Well, sort of.)

And then one night my BFF, Siggy, informed me that our wonderful dog park was going to be sold to a developer. Our special place, where we bonded and played and where I thought I was going to meet Mr. Right—that good place was going to be sold. To a developer. So he could put up condominiums. Where they probably wouldn't allow dogs.

Save the Dog Park!

Siggy (short for Sigmund because he is the dog of a psychiatrist) is the smartest dog I ever met. So when he told me the bad news, I believed him.

But what could we do about it?

Siggy said we should march.

Jeffrey's girlfriend said forget about it, they're only dogs. (See what I mean about her? Try to get along with someone like that.)a

Jeffrey said we should take petitions around the neighborhood for people to sign.

Rebecca kept typing our story because she said readers like conflict, and this was a really good one.

And my darling walker, Megan, did something that I can't tell you about here because it's a little too X-rated, if you know what I mean.

Will I ever find Mr. Right?

Will we save our dog park?

Will Rebecca want to write more books about me?

Stay tuned.
